Grateful for the change of seasons. It seems like it took forever to get here.

My mom passed away on August 24th at the age of 82, after a long battle of with multiple myeloma and chronic kidney disease. She suffered too much, too long. I spent sixteen months as her full-time, solo caregiver, and it was by far the hardest time of my life. My only hope is that she is at peace now, and with my dad again.

Grief has monopolized my world, and it’s time for my own peace and to reclaim my old life back. Traveling many places this Fall, with hopes to relocate to a new place to call home and start anew.
